What are a family child care provider's obligations?
Family child care providers approved by Family and Child Care Connections' Family Child Care Agency must follow the regulations outlined in the Child Care Act and Reglations 2017 in Newfoundland and Labrador. The Family Child Care Agency supports child care providers in their day to day activities and, during their monthly home visits, make sure the required regulations are being followed.

It is a policy of the Family Child Care Agency to have Family child care providers notify the agency when they have spaces available and when those spaces are filled, so that the Family Child Care Registry is up to date.
